I'm not a fan of the generic cheapy code readers, they point you in the right direction but rarely diagnose the exact fault. I'm more than happy to drop it over though mate, just let me know.
lemonnobby1 would be the best bet though, proper clip.
I've got a generic crappy code reader you can borrow? I could drop it over tonight at about 730? Save you driving it and breaking anything.
Failing that, my mate (with a proper machine) would plug it in but would want money for doing so because he's tight.
Of course it's been mapped. With what it's got on it, it would have blown into a million pieces by now if it wasn't!
Rich is just a spastic with a s**t sense of humour.
But that's supposed to do it. Wooshing and suckingand banging is all part of boosted fun. A 170bhp clio banging its tits off looks a bit daft.
Horses for courses though.
I've been on a few track days now with people with this map and my god it sounds pony.
I'm sure it looks/sounds good in front of your mates going down the dual carriageway, but anywhere else you just look like a bellend.
I've still got it. 3 people have said they'll buy it and 3 people have cancelled. Only one of them three even bothered to turn up!
But anyway, I have no cat and a 3 inch turbo back exhaust.
My old classic had a magnex and it still burbled, just not as loud. And it didn't bang and shout like...
I'm thinking that once it's quiet, I will lose a part of the car that I love, the bobobobobobobobob that they make sounds epic with a big exhaust.
(Or desaust as my boy says)
I'm having a proper hard time selling my scoob. My current thoughts are to put a quieter exhaust on it (or add a silencer?) and de-spoiler it. Then get the wheels done in anthracite and then put my wife in it and sell her fiesta.
I get to keep the scoob, she will then drive it (she won't drive...
I put osram night breakers in mine the other week as the standard ones were pony. Made a good difference for sure. I can't say they're the best, they were just what our local motor factors had on offer at the time.
Cracked ABS ring, duff ABS sensor, faulty steering wheel squib (if you move them prior to fitting you'll nause it up)
Best thing to do would be to take it to someone like MicKPM to get it diagnosed properly. No point in buying loads of bits for it until you now what the fault is.
b****cks. We could get an engine out, fit the manifold and refit the engine in that time.
Why didn't you get a fixed price before you let them work on it??
The outside bolts can be got to on the floor, but unless you've got 6ft arms to reach the middle ones, you'll need it up on stands. All you need is a deep 13mm socket and a small extension bar.
When you remove the standard seats, you'll see the black plastic washers/spacers. Removing them...
What he paid for it is completely irrelevant.
I've just looked at he pictures (because simpleton) and it looks proper clean. A tidy example will fetch £17/1800 all day long. Hence my advice to advertise it for £1995.
My cup will be going up for sale shortly for £1495. Mechanically it's spot...
