Once a year before a big machine polish -
Rinse, wash with the two bucket method, shampoo and a lambswool Mitt.
AG Tar Remover as needed, re-wash those areas, rinse.
While still wet clay using a soapy water mixture, rinse or rewash if needed.
Dry with a Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel.

Dry with A large Pakshak Waffle Weave Drying Towel http://www.cleanandshiny.co.uk/ProductDetails.asp?ProductID=9170
Washing - lamswool mitt here for me, some like the Microgfiber one, both are much better than a sponge. Car wash - my current top choice is Sonax Gloss Shampoo from Vauxhall Dealers. Well priced, good suds, and well lubricating.
Pads yeah spot on, different manufacters colour then different...

Most of the time I use normal cheapo white stuff for a quarter of the price!

Same for the Speed Glaze.
Proper Glazes start on 2 then speed up to 4.
Sealants and Liquid waxes 2-4
The sppeds should increase quite proportionaly 1-5 and then there is big speed jump to 6 I think.
