Right played about with a few things today. The starter seems to click and not turn so i think its that. Checked all the fuses via a meter and they seem okay. All wires seem in tact so im going through the starter route to begin with! Bump started it also and it ran fine..

Could you explain this for me please and if theres a fix? Cheers

Thanks Ralph.. The immob light flashes for a bit then goes out and flashes as normal? Sorry for my ignorance - these UCH fuses, where are they located? Also, i dont have the spare key however i changed the battery and its still the same?

I believe this may be immobiliser related.. For a week its been intermitedly not starting, leave it a while starts, try it and then it doesnt.. All the lights seem to stay on with the key out - disconnect the battery and they go out, re-connect and they come back on. The immob light flashes...

It really honestly depends on how handy you are with a socket set buddy! Its relativley easy to do the work (you will need an extended socket for the plugs to get them out the block) maybe speak to your local specialist whoever that might be and im pretty sure they will be happy to help? Euro...

All the symptoms of a misfire mate, when were the spark plugs last changed? For what they cost it honestly is a better idea to just change them. To change all of the parts you should manage it for under £50-60. At the very worst it could be a goosed injector.

It will be either the coil pack/HT leads/spark plugs. The car sounds like its misfiring.

The SERV and AIRBAG lights coming on is a common problem, its due to the wiring of the pretensioners going to an open circuit (underneath the drivers seat) Fiddle with the wires under the seat an the problem should go away. Failing that, a male and female connector should sort it out..
