as long as its a decent amount above MIN, you'll be ok
the difference between MAX and MIN is only 1L (i think)
do NOT overfill it, make sure you check the oil level with the car on a flat surface, and leave the car for an hour or so before topping up
oh and have fun with the dipstick...
halfords own brand 5W40 is fine for top up (or pop down a small motorfactor, usually cheaper)
castrol doesn't work well with the tappets in the F4R i've found
na you'll be fine mixing oils
minimum allowed is 10W40 semi
most use 5W40 fully syn (as recommended by renault, and you can buy it from halfords, just don't buy castrol!)
the stock 172/182 discs are 50mm in diameter and 6mm in thickness too small
(v6mk1 and mk2 uses a 330mmx30mm disc Vs 280mmx24mm on the 172/182)
you would need at least a 17inch wheel for them to fit
as i've always said, the cup racers had stock 172 calipers, its only a light little...
yeah, i wish i'd taken a picture!
2 (one on top of the other) in the passenger footwell
1 on the seat
2 behind the seats in the cubby hole bit
5 on the engine covers
they were only 15inch though
its rare the F4R's use oil, but entirely possible (a little bit is fine, if it starts using a lot then the engine is usually on its way out i've found)
some VW engines can use upto 1L every 625miles for example
i think renault say upto 1L per 1000miles is within tollerance
