what's wrong with the engine (pm if you like)
its a huge operation at specialist breakers, lots of people working there, quite easy to make the odd mistake, i got sent the wrong gearbox once, sorted out the next day
tbh i'd never driven one, i bought mine with out even test driving it! going from a 1.2 to a V6 was a big jump LOL (i bought it for the pose factor if i'm honnest!)
i feel uncomfortable driving FWD clios now, put me in a V6 and i feel at home :)
awesome things
discs are the same, so are calipers
i think the 182 "might" have a few extra bits and bobs, nothing majore though from memory
stub axles are different too i believe
well you're 3bhp down on a 172, so that'll do fine!
the weird thing is the fly figures seem roughly correct, its the wheel figures that are way off which is what i'm struggling to understand here
it is IMPOSSIBLE for any rolling road to give "spot on" flywheel figures
a rolling road measures the power AT THE WHEELS and that figure is then calculated to give an approximate flywheel figure
donsrno, i do appologise, i assumed you had a 172/182, but there's still no way on god's earth that...
don't think its possible to empty the tank on a 197 in 2.5hours!
JR - i'm not as rich as you ;)
riz - i'm not gay ;)
renault did do the white after i harassed them into it! maybe i should ask them to do a PH-FRED? LOL
can you all post your @wheel figures, i spoke to alan and his car lost a huge amount through the trans, wondering if its just his or whether its everyone
i'd only ever own a mk1 exige
the 197 cup "Fred version" would be fully stripped out, about 1inch off the floor, white and some other bits (yozza exhaust obviously!)
