Your car won't be worth £9k in 4 years time! When I worked at Renault (a 'better' brand?) we were selling new good spec Laguna II's for £23k. Taking them in px three years later for £8k, retailing them back out for £9999.

If we've got to have a full working dash in the regs, are there not cheaper cage options without a screen bar? I'd rather buy a cheaper cage and add bars in other areas.

We've put £7000 aside for the first year. With a buffer should we need it. The helmet, suit, licence etc eats away at the start up cost!
