OP must have really been panicking. It's been 14 hours since he posted the problem up and still we don't know how much oil it needed. If that was me, I'd have gone and got some oil at the first opportunity. Even paid double down at the local 24 hour shell garage.

No mate, I'm talking about the actual warning light that comes on due to low/no oil or oil pressure.

In my 200, it said 'oil ok' but on the dipstick it was barely over minimum!

9 times out of 10, if the oil light comes on, it's completely out of oil and the damage is all ready underway. Oil is the first thing I check when looking at a car!

Get it for £17/1800, fit a splitter (it's missing) get a massive service and belts done and for £2500 you'd have a nice car that you know has had all the service/belts done properly.

It's all b****cks. If you decide to drive on track, then its your problem. If someone crashes into you, its your problem. If you don't like those rules, fcuk off and drive up and down the ring road.
