Might be tied out the way already as they tend to break. Basically just alerts you to the bonnet being open, that same annoying noise you get when you leave a door open etc.

You dont have to take it off. You just remove the two push through plastic pins, and then your bonnet alarm sensor. It's a bolt for that crash bar isnt it?

When changing your coolant bottle did you just clamp off the hose and then remove the bottle and refill or did you drain, refill and bleed the whole thing? Also your dogbone mount looks like it's all polybush just looks dirty but I can definitely see a shade of purple. Car looks great mate!

Push it, hard, around the edges. Or clout it with the side of your fist. They dont break very easily and if changing it who cares?
