Lol, the thing is though, 90% of people would never notice the bung. They'd moan about a dent though so it's a lesser of two evils.

Drilling and bunging (Whilst not preferable!) is a perfectly normal method so don't worry. £30 a dent is about right too. (Unless you're trade, then its £35 for the whole car. ;) )
