When did it last have a good service? With diesels I always find a set of plugs, fuel filter, air filter and some good quality oil always help massively with performance and fuel consumption. Or it's placebo! lol

The rubber ones? They're designed to collapse on the outside if you hit them square on at 40mph+, so police cars / paramedic cars don't have to slow down for them. Ambulances, fire engines, etc can just straddle them un noticed. They're a good idea.

Some people don't care. I drive what I want to drive. If I'm bored of my car after a month and stand to lose money in order to shift it, I will. There is nothing worse than driving a car you're bored of. Hence why I change cars every 3-4 weeks! Lol

Like Russ says, buy a car based on its condition and service history. Number of previous owners means very little. I sold a trophy once less than a year old and the new owner was owner number 4!!

Even Cup race cars didn't need them, that answers your question. If you want to buy them then buy them, it's down to you as its your money. If I had an endless budget I'd certainly have them on mine!
