When did it last have a good service? With diesels I always find a set of plugs, fuel filter, air filter and some good quality oil always help massively with performance and fuel consumption.
Or it's placebo! lol
That's for retail though. I'm talking about when I buy a car for myself. I don't care if its had 7 or 70!
If I'm buying a car to sell on, why would I choose a 7 owner example over a 1/2/3 owner?
The rubber ones?
They're designed to collapse on the outside if you hit them square on at 40mph+, so police cars / paramedic cars don't have to slow down for them. Ambulances, fire engines, etc can just straddle them un noticed.
They're a good idea.
Some people don't care.
I drive what I want to drive. If I'm bored of my car after a month and stand to lose money in order to shift it, I will. There is nothing worse than driving a car you're bored of.
Hence why I change cars every 3-4 weeks! Lol
It will be when dave sells it because he's bought another 330 E46 and doesn't use it.... Then he'll moan that he shouldn't have sold it and go and buy another one...
Rinse and repeat.
No fix no fee is a stupid concept. If you cannot provide me with the service you advertise, of course i'm not going to pay you. As spoonie says, if a plumber came out and spent 2 hours trying to fix something and couldn't, I wouldn't be paying him a penny because he hasn't fixed anything!
IMO...
Like Russ says, buy a car based on its condition and service history. Number of previous owners means very little.
I sold a trophy once less than a year old and the new owner was owner number 4!!
Ctr looks lovely, but f**k me your garage is expensive!!! £2500 for a 54 plate ka!
Those civics are a strange one. I've never been in one let alone driven one! Out of all the people I know, nobody has ever had one.
Even Cup race cars didn't need them, that answers your question.
If you want to buy them then buy them, it's down to you as its your money.
If I had an endless budget I'd certainly have them on mine!
