My 1.8 16v uses...
172 Engine, geabrox, driveshafts, hubs, brakes.
1.8 16v Subframe.
Williams Suspension. (You need to take 2mm off the 172 hubs to make the suspension fit)
172 Manifold, custom link pipe, 1.8 16v exhaust system.
There are some really good projects on here detailing the conversion.
Apart from wiring, its all pretty straightforward.

I recently (Within the last 6 months) had to do 2 injectors on a dci with the same symptoms.
Did that, ran some redex through the system over 2 tanks of fuel and then sold it to a mate. He's still driving it now with no issues at all.
