I want one so so badly. I've come close to buying one (Nothing like £45k!!) a few times but I think you need to have enough money to spend £££ on it every year, and imo, you need a heated garage to stop s**t getting damp.
So basically, I can afford the car, I cannot afford the upkeep. :(
That's the same thing. I'll remind you of that when there's a family coming the other way and you disappear into a field upside down.
That's funny, because look at the thread title. You wrote it!
That's about the 5th time its been on ebay.
The last couple of times its been a no reserve auction, has made £2500+ and for some reason it still comes back on.
£3500 will buy you a very nice 182.
For that, expect one or two owners, full history, Cambelt at least 2 years left, both cup packs etc.
Welcome to the club, this place is amazing!
I bought a straight silver 182 (needs belts) for £1900 last week. And that wasn't trade, I bought it out of the paper! There's plenty of cheap ones about.
You haven't detailed the cars. you've just washed and polished them.
If you'd have detailed them, then the drivers side front arch on the alfa wouldn't be full of mud and the inside of the porshe would be clean.
K?
Painting is the easy part, its getting it prep'd properly that will determine how good the finish is.
My painters favorite saying is ''If you can piss, you can paint''
Your advert text is brilliant, I wish more people wrote ads like that! But the pictures are poor. You need to dress te exterior plastics and take some nice shots with a decent background.
Sadly, the 1.6 is a hard car to sell. Young drivers cannot afford to insure it and tose that can afford...
Clart took me out at CSS in the one tat was there. Got to say, I was impressed!
I'm not sure its going to work over here though, where it rains more than 50% of the year. Imagine getting to work in your suit and the top half of you is dripping wet??
It needs paint, no history, belts waaaay overdue?!
It would be nice to buy to make it mint. You'd have one of the best ph1's in the country then.
But I think that car's worth no more than £1200 as it is.
