gearboxs as i said are rubbish and will more than likley break, along with the coil packs (6 of, £55 each i think)

mk1 V6 is good, but the build quality is nothing compared to the mk2
mk1 V6 has a pants gearbox compared to the mk2
mk1 V6 will be quicker in a stright line than a 182, but not by a massive amount
handling isn't as bad as everyone thinks
just tighten it up a bit then try it, then a bit more and try again, you'll know when its right
handbrake should be no more than 5clicks and be FULLY on
have you looked under the rear cover of the lever for an inboard adjuster?
nope! springs will settle (sag) regardless what setup you have (coilovers or normal shocks and springs)
i've fitted coilovers and then get a phone call 6-12months later saying the wheels are scrubbing, this happens for 2 reasons
1) the springs aren't as hard as they were when new
2) the owner...
vvt has bugger all to do with the 5K "kick"
vvt is pretty much there IMO so the car passes emissions tests on fast idle
if you don't believe me unplug your vvt and go for a drive
no lights will light up when your car is due a service, they're not that clever!
there's a lot of lights on the dash that don't work, its just a generic part IMO
