Discs are metal, you clean a car with water.
Nothing you do will stop it!
(You could spray WD40 on your discs before washing the car but you'd die. At least you'd have shiny discs though??)
There are numerous guides out there, there's even one on here (very good) but I think you have to be a member to view it.
All I'll say mate, is that the outcome will depend entirely how well you have prepped the wheels. No amount of talent or expensive paint will mask a rushed prep process.
I will never sell my valver unless a minter than mint mk1/2 Escort comes up that I can afford.
Its got to the point where its worth so little its just not worth getting rid of!

With the exhaust mounts, just jam an old spark plug socket in there and cable tie it. I'll find a picture...
As for the window tints, wait for a hot day, peel them off, clean the glass up using a bit of petrol on a rag and then polish the glass. Bingo.
