check the hinges, open door fully and then lift it up and down from the furthest point and look for play
also check the catch adjustment, you should be able loosen the latch on the door shut side on the chassis itself and drop it slightly to account for any hinge wear/play on the door itself...
Used to go on loads back in the mid 2000's with the mk1 lot, always a spin out somewhere.
these days we all still 'hang out' but tend to go on trackdays instead
I can't recommend a proper map enough, the RSTuner is just the hardware used to flash the map on and off the ECU, that's used by most tuners who map a car on stock ecu. The off the shelf maps that come from Henk at Fastchips are what are usually bundled with the RSTuner module sold to public. A...
04-02-2019 Cam timing and remap
Took a trip over the pennines today to visit @bloke to get the 197 cams timed in then straight over to see Chris at EFi for the whole setup to be mapped.
Cold and foggy trip in a car with no..... well no anything really. But the result was a surprise to say the...
As above, comp test it and if that's okay just keep topping up. Mines just starting to use half a litre or so between oil/filter services now which I do every 6k. 192k on original engine though so think it's entitled to drink a little now!lol!

last time mine did this it was the earth pin on the connector block on the wiring loom for the drivers side rear cluster. It bends out over the years of lights being removed and refitted and makes poor contact with the actual light cluster bulb holder assembly.
Quick bend back with a small flat...
totally depends on fitment of the cage, my old bolt in fitted with standard belts no issue, current one I have never looked so not sure if there is clearance or not
TBH if you are building a proper competitive car from scratch, i'd be getting a custom cage made to the regs and make sure the...
Henk just ignores the user base he's no longer making money off, so the mk2 rs tuner he has no interest in now so just f***s everyone off. He did the same to me with the old mk1 ecu, no money in it so literally just completely ignores any correspondence about it. Frankly the guy appears to be a...
My Pa has a 2.0 sport, used it daily for last 8 years ish, it's a nice thing and I've always had soft spot for any mx-5 tbh.
Looking forward to rods all across the track :-)
