Oh dear oh dear. What do we have here? An angry little scrotum thats bought a duff car and seems to think calling me a chav (I'm bald, old and a dad you r****d) is going to gain him some cool points??
Well, it didn't. The fact you can't even string a sentence together tells me that you are...
Any paint is only as good as the bloke mixing it.
If you go into halfords and the bloke is a spaz, walk away. If he seems like he knows what he's doing, then its all good. (hopefully)
The following people I can recomend...
BTM Performance (Birmingham)
519 Automotive (bedford)
Birchdown (Cheshire)
There are others on here too but for the love of god don't take it to some back street garage. I've owned 172's that are running 20bhp down due to poor timing on cambelt...
So why don't you buy one that needs its belts doing for £3000 and spend the additional £600 having all belts and the dephaser done at a proper specialist.
At least then you will know that its all been done properly.
With 182/172's I personally don't trust that a belts been done properly...
Granted the advert was written by a drunken handicapped buffoon, but this sounds like a good car...

Is it a new engine or have they just fitted a secondhand engine?
If it was a secondhand engine, good practice would have been to fit all new belts and kits, new clutch and a full service.
I'd want to be seeing all of the reciepts thats for sure!
Imo, it all depends on what you want the car for. If you want it for track days, spirited weekend driving and all that, buy an Exige.
If you want a car where every journey is an event, people take pictures of you driving down the road and the whole petrol station asking you if its a...
Haha! Yep. It did it whilst taking my mate to the airport and everytime I braked, he slid forward, everytime I pulled away he slid back! lol.
Just buy another seat from a breakers. Probably only be about £50.
I was going to put one of them on the wifes Leon Tdi but I bottled it. Too many internet horror stories for me! lol.
Cars looking good as ever though mate.
The back wings have been painted, you can see they're ever so slightly off colour. Whoever did the repair just laquered over the stickers rather than removing/painting/replacing.
Shame.
It is mate yeah. I don't know what to recomend as a degreaser/cleaner as I use trade stuff in bulk at work so i'm not 100% whats best to recomend from off the shelf so to speak.
I've still got it yeah, someone on here may be buying it soon though. I polished it today and even if I do say so...
You need a good pressure washer to remove all the lumpy crud, then something like Autoglym engine and machine cleaner. Spray it all on, let it soak for 5 minutes, another quick spray to make it wet again then go like fcuk with a stiff brush. Nail brush is the right idea but they wear out...
Another vote here for scrapping the supaguard idea.
You will be much better off giving it a polish and wax/sealant of some description.
I cannot recomend any though as all I use is autoglym from work.
Dci 80 for me, purely as I detest the 100's gearbox.
The 80 can be mapped/farted about with just as easy as the 100 too. The 65 is a little more difficult as there's no intercooler.
Because they have been given dealer support.
In other words, if you were to go in with no part exchange, Renault have said they are allowed to give another £1500 off.
Without meaning to sound rude, you need to pay yor £12 membership. It will save you ££'s in the short term and long term!
Quck runthrough for you though....
If its a 1.2 dynamique, expect the oil filler car to be a bit covered in mayo. Stupid design means in never dries out unless you do...
I think what people are trying to say is; learn from their experiences.
Painting the bonnet ''just to be different, I can't afford to do anything else'' is a waste of time. It doesn't look modified, it just looks s**t.
When I was your age I would do similar things but in hindsight, looking...
