When I did the ones on my van, I put a bit of fairy liquid around the bead of the tyre where it meets the rim. The first tyre I just used normal tyre soap and we struggled for half an hour. The last three I did I used Fairy liquid and they fcuked on with no bother.

Had any work done to the car lately? Sounds like an air lock in the water system but its so difficult to tell without seeing the car. Fix it again tomorrow strikes again! lol.

Tractor edition tyres, black wheels and black roof/bonnet cheapen the look of the car massively which is suprising considering your 306 was so so nice.

I don't understand how you can compare (or aren't you?) a 106 Gti to a Fiesta/lupo/C2. They are so dated its unreal. Granted they're good cars for under twelve hundred quid, but if you're looking at spending £5k, I know what i'd rather buy! lol.

Panda 100hp, C2 Vts, Suzuki Swift Sport, Suzuki Ignis sport... What about a Fiesta ST? They were purposely limited to 150bhp so the insurance was cheaper for young people (which is why they respond so well to mods) Tbh, that would be my preference.
