7-1-2018 New Wheel
Purchased a sabelt wheel, 330mm instead of 350mm and flat rather than dished.
This means my arms sit better on the wheel from the seating position
Yet to drive the car with it but position definitely feels better.
Pics!

i'm in the slightly enviable position of owning both an RB and an Odyssey Phase 1, caught in a corner I have no idea which i'd say i'd keep as I love them both for completely different reasons.
I've had the RB for 6 years now nearly and the Odyssey for just under a year, along with a couple of...
no worries, be interested to see how this turns out and how clean the car is for the mileage. i'd expect it to be immaculate and rust free etc.
keep us posted!
test drive, you'll see it overrev when you drop clutch and let off the power to junctions etc
can sometime feel it as hesitancy when accelerating etc as well
ai mainly just check for rust, inside petrol filler cap too where the thing bolts in can be a sign. think you can just remove the speakers and pop phonecamera into sill to take a pic and see
sticky throttle can be cable or body itself
then its just normal clio mk2 stuff on top of that, belt...
whats wrong with the current gearbox? if you are going full standard restoration as well I would simply get the existing gearbox rebuilt

wouldn't be an exclusive anymore then though and run the risk of devaluing. although spose you just keep original wheels and interior in a shed out the way where they can't hurt anyones eyes, then when you sell sell with both options.
It's kind of strong money just after Christmas too so you may be lucky and it'll still be around in Feb
However trying to find one for sale is getting harder and harder so may get bought quick. Just can't tell tbh
looks decent tbh and I would guess he has removed the bucket seat and refitted the standard one for sale
only quibble for me is cambelt as well as it will be a 500 quid job this year, so i'd be going in at 2k max
I'm running 20mm front and 15mm rear hubcentrics (bolt to hub on the fronts, longer bolts on rears) and the standard ET43 182 cup wheels, sits like this on H&R springs
I intend to slap my ET43 2118's onto it and some coilovers come the summer and expect it to sit perfectly with these spacers :)
Gave it a bath, 3M restored the headlights again and washed the drivers seatbelt.
Also refitted rear plate as it was peeling off so new Velcro added!!
Few pics of progress!
Belt clean first, bit of stain remover, bucket of detergent laden water and a nail brush
Manky belt
Soak it for a bit...
