who the hell doesn't unstick their wipers when its obviously icy before they get in the car? blummin lazy kids of today, back when I were a lad we didn't have glass, grumble grumble etc etc
I sometime find that its more the time between unlocking and opening the door. if you don't let it unlock then wait for a second or so before pulling the handle the alarm will go off.
Your routine at work may be you unlock the car a few paces before you get to it, where as at the petrol station...
this is my intention too, I have cut off all the unwanted plugs, just been too lazy upto now to pull the wires back
moved ecu to bulkhead but still engine bay side as well, already done this, just gets it out the way
unplug the fuel pump from under the rear seats, provided its a not an early phase 1 car with the separate pump and sender
that'll be fine to run the test, all I've ever done and not got any erroneous readings
i really don't get what they do to cause the breakages, I have a set of 182 xenon's in the shed I've had years, they get chucked about, they've sat under a pile of suspension parts that I've chucked on them, they've been transferred from shed to shed and car to car over the time.
still fine...
nice work and good little write up so far! trackdays always lead to trials and tribulations but the first completely clear and mechanical gremlin free one I ever had still feels so good even now! lol!
as above, injectors for sure, they're very common for going on these engines
the o2 sensor faults are probably a result of the bad exhaust from the crapped out injectors so change them first imo
