nice work man, as you say hopefully get out for a blast next week one eve, presume she's on the road now?
who did the wheels and cost as well out of interest, got a set of F1's for the Odyssey I want doing!
23-08-2017 Trial Fit of Wilwoods
So figured I would check the clearances on the Wilwoods and ensure they cleared my Speedline Maracanã (Turbine) wheels for road and my track OZ Superleggera, both 15" rims.
Pictures can do most of the talking here but essentially, yes they clear both with no...
ai as all have said, align it as is and use it, see how it feels and revise and improve from there
I would guess better pads will be pretty much the first thing to do, 2500 are more a road based pad, I personally use CL RC6 although about to upgrade to wildwood 4 pots, 293mm discs and DS 1.11 pads
I have'n't @gez 172 i'm afraid, always been useless with videos, I used to have a gopro and recorded a few trackdays but never did anything with the footage
all I have on youtube is a couple of starting and idling vids I think, that's it!lol!
last time I rebuilt mine I used mineral oil for 100 miles or so and just drove it 'sympathetically' so no redline but not mothering it completely either, then changed the oil and thraped it.
cracked the block eventually but that was poor mapping and no sympathy on track, lol
Teeny tiny update, just been using the car daily, nothing to report so fitted a new rear wiper blade as something to do, lol
Old and split
New and minty
Cheers
Ben
I've had all the main ones, Milltek (poor quality but nice and subtle sound), Scorpion RS 192 (bit boomy and hanger fell off), Yozza, both old and new ones (mega loud, awesome, but so so loud. Both were beautifully made too, lovely things) and now running a Janspeed which is overall my...
my phase 1 has even more space under the arches, that's running 10m rear, 20mm front, ET36 and on its arse on coilovers, still doesn't rub unless I hit a bump on full lock!lol!!!
So after Cadwell the cars just had a couple of trips out on a weekend for meeting up with mates etc.
I have added a few more bits, bought some Aerocatches as the cheap pins have caused me issue in the past and just looks better with the proper catches. Went genuine obviously, 2x lockable and 2x...
welcome
on a 182 the fuel pressure reg is built into the sender unit in the tank underneath the rear bench seat, the round thing in the picture is the VVT solenoid that reads the cams, nothing to do with the fuel system itself
just take your time setting it up, I find popping the box in reverse and setting the linkage to that makes it easier
fitting may require exhaust removal or at least splitting from cat/downpipe to allow you to shift it to side
cracking project and car btw, just ready from page 1
notice your sig says you have a phase 1? standard wheels for that are OZ F1 in 15"?
either way imo best bet is to get some 15" wheels and the yoko ad08 are well related as a good road and track tyre with a slight lean to track performance
