doesn't look too bad tbh chap, repair i'd say. can you poke a hole in any of the problem areas with a screwdriver? if not and its still solid enough it'll be fine for a year or so i'd say.
tbh me too, but I need to stop modding daily cars, lol! track car project is supposed to be for mods.........please please don't look at the phase 1 project thread.....lol!!!
canon 24-105 chap, but added the vignette in Lightroom after the fact
Well did a load at the car today!
Original plan was to put it all back to completely standard. However I want to powdercoat the OZ F1's and i'm also still collecting bits.
As such decided I would pop a few cheeky mods on the car for a bit, mainly just to see what it looked like!
So first job...
Right, did some more bits on the car this morning to return it further to standard.
Removed the H&R springs and the whiteline RARB then fitted the original cup springs, so tis now at standard ride height.
So now sitting at standard height on standard wheels :) Only mods now really are...
the derby and the old DC2 look great
and work on the phase 1 appears to be progressing well, love the older shape and have just acquired another myself :)
Been a long long time since I updated this one too, forgot how good the car looked over the years!lol!
Since the last update its had some more bits, again loads of wheel changes and just cranked the mileage, 163k now just over!
Added the new plate that came off one of the clio mk1 16v's I...
same as above, tried all sorts and now just change them every couple of years instead, started using the cheaper 20 quid none sport ones in the 1*2's as well, quality is basically the same and look nearly as good
those two were the reason I wanted a mk1 clio back in the day, that race was happening same year I came back from travelling and bought my first valver! :) @Martin_172
Tiny update, thought I'd treat her to a magic tree and try starting her again, first turn. So came back inside, watched telly and did my ironing, went back out, tried her again... First time again.
Seems a magic tree fixes immobiliser issues in old Renaults :-P
superb work, and it must be one of the most exciting things to know that once its done, you'll of built your own car, from scratch, truly deep doff of the cap to you sir!
hope you make the test.....in 3 days!!
