@182_steve on the above offer.......options open now :) lol!!
must just be the subtle addition of the large and pokier wheels that give it that extra bang! looks great
looking forward to sorting my new acquisition soon, love a phase 1.
only got a crappy driveway pic at the mo but that's the only place its been so far in the two weeks I've had it!
yeah I could do, was in two minds but if I did do that i'd have to go round and satin black all the rest of the plastics to match too (I'm bit OCD like that)
plus I think some slight fading on the plastics is not the end of the world, provided the patina is there uniformly it'll be in keeping...
14-02-2017 - Test Fit 182 Manifold
Slightly late with this update, but got the 182 manifold onto the car today, she's a snug fit but once I refitted the subframe on its main mounts and got the dogbone mount back on she's there.

thing that boggles my mind is having bought many a mk1 in 12 year old 80k condition......they were always, and I mean always.....a wreck...this thing has cost me half what they used to, is 4 years older and done 60k more and its essentially.......well mint. I know i'm easily pleased but to see...
Acquired this at the weekend, cheers @boomerbang2006 for the sale, very easy transaction.
I've wanted another phase 1 for a bit but frankly just haven't needed one and was supposed to be concentrating on the Mk1 172 track car this year, but all that went out the window after few beers on...
163k on the 182
144k on the 172
127k on the track car, but that's just the clocks, no idea on the car itself
1004k iirc on the Mk1 Turbo but its been in bits that long not sure!lol!
