What the fcuk is that all round the arch and the sill??
I'm going to be brutally honest, don't waste your money on it. I mean that in the nicest possible way.

Belts done, recent brakes, rear shocks replaced, steering wheel retrimmed....
All of these jobs are where the 172/182's fall down.

I sold that when it was Brand new, to my Mate Matt. :D
Nice to see its back, he'll be devastated. Said it was the worst automotive decision he's ever made! lol.

Valves are £3 each
Gasket set is £20-ish
Belt kit and tensioner is £60.
If you're doing it yourself thats not a lot to worry about mate, and think of the experience you'll get!

Oh fcuking hell, I thought it was a 172!
Oh in that case panic over, those things are cheap as chips to repair. I've no fcuking clue how to go about it as I have a mechanic, but honestly nothing on them engines is expensive.
I'm 99% sure that belonged to darren on here.
Px'd with me for a 225.
I then sold it to another member, he then had to give it to someone to pay off a debt, buyer then sold it on ebay and then he then sold it on ebay never to be seen again.
Used to be stripped out, buckets and harnesses...
At the end of the day, you pay cheap you pay twice. As harsh as that sounds, 99% of the time its true.
However, I'd get the car looked at before you start worrying. Where is your nearest specialist? (BTM, Birchdown, 519Automotive, Tour de Force would be my only choices)
