One of my mates inherited his grans mk1 supersport. 1 owner from new (Still on the old logbook!) and something rediculous like 33,000 miles. Currently going through a full nut and bolt restoration. :D He's even got the original bill of sale and it was £6300 iirc.

So pretty good value then really. I bet it would cost a very experienced home mechanic about £12k to build one??

Thats been stood for a long time. Theres a flat dirt mark on the front wheel where its been flat and they've pumped it up for the photo's. I-R detective. They rust for a past time, tailgates, bottoms of doors, inner and outer sills, outer arches and if its really rotten the inner arches go...
