    Newbie from Canberra, Australia

Hi Damian - congrats on the purchase! Cliosport is a great source of knowledge on all things Clio but if you haven't already come and say hi on ozrenaultsport.com as well. There's a few Canberra guys on there too :) As for the timing belt, with 50000kms and almost 4 1/2 years I'd suggest it's...

Range Rover Driver Runs Over Bikers in NYC

IIRC the guy who was paralysed was checking on the guy who was knocked down by the RR? Anyway, being the USA I can almost guarantee that there will be a civil lawsuit against the RR driver...

Range Rover Driver Runs Over Bikers in NYC

Don't blame the Range Rover driver for doing what he did, but unfortunately if I was him I'd would be fully expecting a lawsuit from the paralysed biker and/or his family...

Trackday Claim for hitting another car

Woah. Down here in Australia it is basically that once you are on a racetrack you are uninsured and everything is at your own risk - both physically and financially (although there may be a few some niche insurers here offer some kind of trackday insurance but iirc they are usually capped ie. up...

New Irish lad here in oz

TBH probably the best way would be to put a shout out for one on ozrs and/or check the for sale section. Otherwise you could give a few of the Renault specialists a call - Colin @ Alpine Affaire in Ringwood, Carl @ Virage in South Melbourne or AutoParis in Box Hill and see if they might have...

    Removing spray paint?

If the upper grill was initially prepped properly prior to spraying (keyed and cleaned) and the current paint is sound then I'd just give the paint the once over with wet'n'dry or something like wire wool or an abrasive pad ( which would probably be easier to get to all the ins'n'outs) to key...

    Heated mirror wiring question

I replaced my original driver's side mirror and was surprised to find that it had the wiring there but the mirror itself didn't have the element on it - the new mirror did though so I now have a heated mirror on the driver's side... :)

    Front tyre rubbing!

Shouldn't be getting rubbing like that - I have 205/45/16's on Turinis on my 172 with increased caster wishbones and konis/sportlines (30mm+ drop) and I am only getting slight rubbing on the liner...

I found no real difference in terms of ride comfort going from standard top mounts to my current Compbrake ones (yes I know there is not a lot of love for those here on CS lol). I am running Konis + Sportlines though...

Mileage since last reset - won't show more than 999kms?

Thanks for the replies - so I was imagining things then lol. Seems a bit redundant to only allow it to display up to 999kms - like I said would be handy for quickly being able to see how many kms/miles since last service or even how many kms/miles you had done if you were doing a long road trip...

Mileage since last reset - won't show more than 999kms?

Noticed this on the car for a while now. Everything on the trip computer all works fine but the 'mileage since last reset' won't go higher than 999kms - in other words it hits 999km and then goes back to 0km. I could have sworn that it used to but just in-case I am imagining things, am I right...

    clio 182 cruise control

I assume you are referring to the steering wheel buttons and not the cc switch on the dash? If you are going to take the airbag off disconnect the battery and leave it for 30mins to let any residual current dissipate - should be ok to remove then. This is a great guide here for removing airbag...
