try as I might, I really just don't 'get' Vauxhalls at all
which is weird as my dad's always had them, maybe that's why?
best I can say is it looks a clean enough example :)
my first ever car, 1.4RT clio, I did similar thing, rocked up, paid up, bloke disappeared and car was a total fecking shed. blew up 2 weeks later.
then as you do when your young, didn't learn and went to Gateshead for the next one, 1.8 16v Clio, and same again, blew up after a month that time...
don't get me wrong, I've spent I reckon 20k on the turbo, but it was built up as a road car that I started doing a few track days in, realised it doesn't cut the mustard, so soon as I bought the new project track car first thing I've bought after the car is a quaiffe, lol!
bloody hell I was not ready for that, I have always thought the new clio 4 RS looked utterly gash, but in white, on those proper alloys (not like the shite on the megane in the pic) it looks.....dare I say it.......fecking wonderful
cheers lads, it'll rise again
I try to 'get' the mk2's but I'm a mk1 kid at heart so always have a few kicking about even if they aren't used daily like I used to :(
check the integrity of the main connector to the alternator, they can sheer off and if its close to doing that it could be causing the issues your seeing!
ai the mk1's aren't the most ideal choice for those not experienced with them, I've owned so many and my last track car was one so I have most of the parts in the shed ready to swap onto it :) so should be a nice simple build, just need to find time!
Bought this back in October 2013 from Danny-Ace on the forums, he'd ebayed it randomly as a none runner (aux system removed for s/c mock up and all wiring sold) so I snapped it up for a few quid.
Its since sat on stock in a mates lockup since then over Christmas etc with me having little or no...
