a 172 or 182 will be VERY close if not faster round brands
bedford, silverstone etc you won't get near one in a 172/182
Fubar, i got overtaken by virtually everything at Brands, and i was driving the 240bhp cup! (monsoon was out) that blue car doesn't do rain! LOL
yup, thats going into the 1.2, standard for now, but i just happen to have low comp pistons, turbo head + cams and manifolds lying about :)
yay!
(for the uneducated people viewing thats the entire contents (complete) of a 172 cup engine bay)
brakes, handling, steering, driving position etc is awesome
engine just feels flat as hell, and i think it has too many gears, round Oulton Park i was changing gear non stop, coming out of shell hairpin, it was 2nd/3rd on exit all the way upto 5th, brake, down to 2nd then your hitting 5th...
hang on a second chaps!
if you loosen F and pull the engine forward, then retighten, it will do the grand total of nothing
what you want to do is loosen H and J, then pull the engine forward, these are the only bolts on that mount that have any adjustment, F has 0 adjustment
that is 100% a cup racer roll cage, the pics arronc posted are not of a cup racer! (its a clio, but thats an enduro clio racer, rally spec cage)
R-sport do 2 different cages
cup racer = 1000euro
rally = 2500 euro (the one in the pic by arronc is this)
trust me on this!
the car Maz is loking...
thats is a genuine Cup Racer cage
i have a feeling yoz knows something about that car, he knows the previous owner i think
looks good, but loose the shitty GAZ and fit Bilsteins
front bumper has to come off, or you can remove the grille and get it out that way, its held in by 3 small torx screws
but the diamond is plastic welded (sort of) onto the black surround, you'll have to snap the welds to get it off, paint it, then superglue it back on
