Edde, I have heard that you're a genius (and a helpful one at that) I however am a tw*t and don't know what you're talking about but would also like to stop the knock under hard, first gear acceleration, could you explain the process a little more clearly please?
In the top mount the centre bolt should be 44NM iirc, the others are 62NM Ive done the above on mine and has made a difference.

Yep F = 44NM
H, J and G are all 44NM.
I got mixed up with my earlier post.
Alsl you have to do is loosen F pull the engine forward and retigthen.

WHy are you taking it off you only need to loosen the bolt to pull the engine.
If you want to remove either part of the mount yep you'll need to support the engine.
