only those, bill of 8 grand thought still ;)
i'm away all weekend mate anyway and no real rush is there, not like the beans going to see daylight anytime soon with the german barge sapping all the cash ;)
I didn't, too low and wheels stuck under the arches too far ;) but its going back on 15's soon, the cup rims are just for it to sit on in the meantime!
oh, also done the fresh plates thing too with the smaller front one :)
right
been a long long time since I updated this thread, the cars gone through several iterations since, mostly wheel changes and I have since added 15mm front and 10mm rear per side spacers and put the standard cup wheels back on.
most recent progress has been engine bay changes, perhaps not...
the Pirelli's are awesome tyres, had them in 205/45 fit on turinis and picked them up part worn for 20 quid a tyre with some crafty ebaying
had some s drives ages back on 195/45 R16 fit on some superleggera's and they were a very good all round tyre also, so i'd recommend them as well tbh...
when you say 'still running rough' does that imply it was running badly before the garage did the work?
if so my monies on injector going down, same as other post about a 182 in this forum. diagnosis method detailed in that thread
injector on its way out, let it idle rough for a bit, check for a blacked up plug. note which pot its on and then swap injector from that pot with a 'clean' one. clean all the plugs up and refit then fire it up and let it idle again. check the plugs again and see if the dirty plug has followed...
Has anyone got a centre section they can measure for me?
overall length and length of all 3 parts, so the box, the long pipe to rear axle and the short pipe to the car (with it set on the sleeve to correct length to fit the car)
any help much appreciated
cheers
Ben
thankfully i've never had the privelege of driving a properly powerful diffed FWD as yet, so i sort of dont know the difference and i think i'd rather keep it that way, and so would the missus/bank manager! lol!
i've had my cooksports on for 3 months or so now and they have 'settled' and tbh there isnt much nose down, the fronts are pretty much level pegging with the rears, looks pretty similar to the above pics
does work well on 15's however, but need either spacers of lower offset than 43 to pull it...
we don't? but thats how i roll! lol!
feck diffing a chocolate JC5 series box though, it is the single biggest let down of the renault setup, i darent risk a diff for fear of splitting the box casing like Gaz did years back and munching a brand new diff :(
oem? bollox, seen it this eve on its arse on coilovers and dirty spacers, and stripped rear, the vibra's will in no way make it feel any more harsh than it probably already is ;)
i'm rolling in our lass' 106 1.5D currently, i doubt it'd make it to liverpool but i put 47 quid of devils juice in it fortnight ago, done 330 miles, tanks reading just under half left
ball bag that boyo ;)
no way, if the weathers like this I go no further than my beer fridge/bbq/patio radius of terror.
roll on the rain, then i'll stand in a smaccies car park in notts and talk about clios ;)
