anything above T25/T28 hybrid i think you'll start to struggle for clearance on the bulkhead with log manifold, so your probably talking 5 GTT style, turbo where battery is job to fit a T3 series turbo
think it was G something chap, as mentioned private plate. it was half hidden behind another car and i sort of may of been boosting a bit at the time so kind of 'did 30 officer' past it
agreed, the drivetrains are these cars are the weakest link, but that's sort of bye the bye for this conversation, the point I'm making is the chassis' are far more capable than the powerplants bely. that's kind of the crux of your entire mark 1 project el chippio, find a good drivetrain to bolt...
Renault are sort of missing a trick with it tbh, as the renaultsport chassis across the range are very very good and capable of handling a bit more power than they come with :)
if its under rear seat mainly it can be rear quarter glass seals as well, mine does this and I know its coming in there, they fold in on themselves under the base of the windows

whats the reasoning behind a 1.2 then? if your after a cheap runabout to get you back and forth to uni on a budget etc, why not just buy an old 106 diesel or something for few hundred, keep the rest of the cash in the bank ready for when you want something nicer and faster in the future? just my...
hi miles doesn't really put me off, i wouldn't mind a low mileage motor but tbh i never have had one, all my cars have been near to 100k and I've broken that barrier with them or they have been way over it!
only exception was a 1.25 zetec fezza i had, S plate, 67k and the single worst car i...
kicked the exhaust several times in anger as the darn thing wont stop vibrating on something
didn't sort it, so resigned myself to having to jack her up for a look see tonight when I get in from work :(
