I've never known them to drill there... :S Everytime we've had it done they do it bang in the middle so when the plastic thing goes in it just looks like part of the door. If its at the edge it will look well odd!

It is standard practice, they bung it up with a small black plastic thing so you'll never notice it. HOWEVER! My dent guy uses this as the last resort. He prefers to use a glue gun and 'pull' the dent out sharply if its in a place that is difficult to access. (I can't explain it very well...)

Et is the offset (Distance from the centre of the rim to the hub in mm. 6x15 is a 6 inch wide rim that is 15 inches big. 4x100 pcd means there are 4 holes for the wheels bolts, 100mm apart. (I think... lol)

I don't use dirty sponges!!! (I actually use a brush...) But should the need arise, I have no issues wet sanding and/or machine polishing a whole car. Thankfully my hobby is my job! ;)

As above, if you don't know what a machine polisher is, give wet sanding a wide berth! Wet sanding and machine polishing itself is actually quite easy, but then I have been 'cleaning' cars properly for about 10 years. On the flip side, if you go into it blind like a bull in a china shop...
