I was about 23 I think. And the only reason I bought it was because I managed to pursuade my mrs to insure it. (In my name it was well over £2k to insure!)
My Astra Van? I sold it to Russ16v off here. I use posh cars for work now, the clio van is just to get me from my house to my place of work. Once i'm at work, I use anything that looks expensive! lol.
As for your track comment, little do you know my friend. ;)
Theres not many people share your view!
I personally would have loved a black one with the black wheels. Would have looked bloody immense but I just cannot be arsed with cleaning the thing twice a week because of dust etc. At least with the storm grey I can wash it maybe once every 3 months. :D
I don't want to come across as a prick, but you've ruined a perfectly good clean and tidy car!
That paintwork looks terrible.
You should have just kept it clean and standard, lowered it and put some nice wheels on it.
But then i'm old so what do I know.
Don't get into more debt for a start!
If it was me i'd....
Either break the car and clear the loan meaning you can start a clean slate with the new one,
Or, Keep the car until the loan is clear, new loan and buy something dull and sensible and keep the clio as a weekend car.
Here they are!
200 Cup (Wife drives this daily)
The RatVan (my work horse)
172'd Valver (Track car)
Really crap pictures but tbh, I don't care. They are for driving, not taking pictures of!
First up, the RatVan.... Coilovers, Stretched tyres, Big sound system, covered in s**te but...
That car is a joke. The speed it can go around corners is just insane.
We'll organise a good drive out next time, when we give ourselves a bit more notice!
I bought a 200 mainly because I think the VXR range was styled by a chav that won a competition on a packet of Coco-Pops...
BUT!! You need to drive/look at them both as its all down to the drive for you imo. If you're even considering them together you should drive them both just to see if...
Hello Katie B. HAve you been on a Mission lately?
Back on topic, the engine you have is the 2.0 16v IDE engine. More commonly known as Fail.
(Its not a very reliable engine)
BUT! A Megane coupe is a good choice, I really like them!
