I had a similar (Albeit much bigger!) accident and a friend tried to fraudulantly claim for whiplash. A knock on his door with a threat of physical violence soon put a stop to that! If they're injured, fair enough, but making a claim for the sake of it is a bad bad thing I think. At least...

From date of reg to 3 years old is the easiest time to clock a car. (No MOTs so no record of the car anywhere) UNLESS! Its got full service history (reciepts, any monkey can buy a book and stamp it up) I'd avoid.
