Yeah pretty much! I did mine where the baby seat rubs against the suede/alcantara.
I had to buy a new razor though as I tried it with an old one and it made it worse! I think its quite a tough substance and needs a fresh blade to sort it. So i bought about 10 from boots for about a quid! lol.
If it were me, I'd be putting the contis on the back and the Avons on the front.
Its a lot easier to catch an understeering FWD car than it is to catch an oversteering one! Just my opinion.
FWD hot hatches = Best on the back, worst on the front.
