Running Bigger Wheels?

Say for example changing your wheels from 14" to 16" would this improve your MPG ?

Always forget to post this but just a thought lol

I would imagine it depends on the type of driving, town or motorway.

I've always wondered this too!

There was a guy when I worked at Renault that changed his 13s to 14s on his Megane and said it improved his mpg on the yearly run to Devon. (Yes, he was a loser)

I would think if driving on motorways it would be better but driving in town turning all the time it would be worse

Any physics in?

Calculate the circumference for both sizes including tires to a certain pressure and find how much more distance you'd get from one rotation of each.
