Mine might be the Volvo part tbf looking at yours.
I’d get a nice aluminium spacer made to space the top alternator mounting out a bit.
Unless you have the wrong alternator for that mount maybe? You using a cup one or air con one? I know the mounting point on the is different.
I’ve just got a similar setup but mine has an extra part with it. I haven’t tried fitted mine yet. Maybe get time over the weekend but this is what I’ve got.
So engine is nearly done. Just needs the cam cover sealing, timing up, flywheel, clutch and gearbox on and it can be swung back in once I’ve ran some new front brake lines.
Next I need a cage so I’ve tidied me garage and jacked the car up high so I can start the prep for this.
I want seat...
This is true.
Even at work we have warning notes that arms and rear shocks part numbers are for all Clios bar sports and don’t not sell so we don’t have any issues
I’m fitting 421s currently. Still VVt
In with the exhaust cam was this pin
I’m guessing it goes in the end of the cam here
Can someone confirm this is correct as neither the exhaust cam pulley or Dephaser pulley have a hole for the pin to go in too?
Engine is apart now and being cleaned and painted ready to be put back together with some goodies.
I need to order a new water pump pipe as mine is cracked.
ARP bolts fitted
Block wire wheeled.
Heads first clean. Needs another going over.
I had a intermittent starting issue which turned out to be the power cable terminal bolted to the alternator cracking and finally breaking off. The 13mm nut on the alternator, Maybe be worth a look.
Car looks great ??
The 182 drive belt tensioner setup is shite glad mines a cup set up ?
Strip the aux and cambelt stuff off the 182 lump and anything else that’s bolted to it too lol.
Also brought a few essentials
