Round 2 with another engine. 182 lump this time.
Plan on tearing this down built back up ASAP!
Will need to order a few things to suit the 182 head tho.
I’m sure the Me221 has s**t support for the Clios. I’m sure it’s @vroomtshh has one, and I was asking him about them as I was gunna order one.
I’ve got the Gen90 now and wish I went down the PMS DTA route if I’m honest. I know yours is going boost so may be slightly different but I think it’s...
Yes I have 2 of them mounted to the roof of my garage. There really good for the money!!
I also have some rechargeable Elwis lights which have a few different mounting options like a bonnet bar (which is again mounted to the roof) small stand, 6 feet stand and really strong magnet
Was getting worried my PMS radiator was going to get damaged being moved around my garage I decided to actually get it fitted. So out come the angle grinder ?
Also fitted my PMS cable throttle pedal as it’s a 2 second job but progress is progress.
I haven’t really look at what figures it’ll make 200 maybe?

Gearbox, clutch and flywheel off.
Engine on the stand.
With it on the stand I started to look abit closer at a few things I was worried about.
Crank seak leaking maybe.
And oil around the exhaust manifold gasket
Had a...
Tbh I haven’t done a wet/damp track day in it yet. I’ve done a cold frosty morning which was fine. I don’t use it on the road at all, I do dread to think of the day I have a wet track day as I’m plastic windows too and don’t have a roof scoop or air feeds into the cabin lol
Is yours really bad...
Cheers bud.
Yeah stock oil pressure switch. You can unpick the loom and move the plug/wire pretty much anywhere you like upto the alternator. Mines pcliped upto the thermostat housing.
Will I get any benefit from fitting the large port Ph1?
Going ITBs with 421 and my PMS manifold.
Only asking as I’ve got it sitting here doing nothing and the engines coming out.
I had the immobiliser issues and brought the Gen90, plugged it in and it started right up.
Thought I’d mention it incase you decide to save some cash as I was looking at custom loom etc before taking the chance with the Gen90
