Dead easy to fit
The old one you pull up turning it inside out then you'll see the little plastick tie wrap cut that off and remove the gaiiter.
The the instalation of the new one is just the oposit of what you've done to remove it . BTW you will need to cut the new tie wrap as otherwise it...
The Tyre maybe fixable so long as it in the main 75% of the width of the tyre and only small. Should only cots £10 or so if it can be fixed like this but if its near the sidewall they cannot do it.
I track my car a lot and the only problem I've ever had is that at Bedford last weekend they faded but they needed bleeding before hand.
I use Halford Ferodo OE replacment pads normal disk normal lines and the expensive fluid Halfords sell.
There no point the caliper brackets won't fit.
Stock brakes are fine even with OE pads.
If you do want to upgrade then ds2500 pads are a good value upgrade with new braided lines and fluid.
Beyond that the only good otpion is 4 pot brake like Willwood etc but there £500 or so with new disk...
What do you describe as big money?
Intake modified preferably level 2 if your going to remap. Thats £450 or so, level 1 modification is £150 or so I think but the gains are almost as good as throttle bodies on level 2 and much cheaper since stock ECU can be used.
if you want to go any further...
Your deemed as safe.
Be interesting to see what they said if they found out the car had some real mods like a forged bottom end reving to 9k but looking stock what they would say though.
The reception seem good its the mechanics which caused the problems.
Nope, WIlliams is still for sale parents keep pushing me to sell it :-( insurance won't let me get a faster replacement car for the diesel for some reason. They won't insure me on a 182 or VRS Fabia.

Yep but a simple checksum of values whill show the programs isn't the same as standard.
I agree though VAG etc have more potential but with margins being so small in the industry they want to save costs all the time not payout if a good cost saving.
I know an Escort Cosworth was checked when...
Nice Audi what spec was it?
I'm not surprised they didn't pay out most companies won't there a few X5's had to go throught insurance as there intakles are to low.
Juding by your plate I'd say you bought the Audifrom Chester if so then the techies there are usless a friend and his friend had...
Checking the ECU maps is a very simple check my car I think was checked when I crashed it.
If i was a crash investigaor I'd check and refuse to payout but many companies arn't as mean as me.
There is the intake isn't to the same spec and standards as one from the production run Ben adjust the size and shape. Also the finish is different inside anyone know understands production methodology and surface finish would know its been modified. Then agian its difficult they will check...
