120 in the diesel down a hill on the race track.
1215 in a stright line in Germany.
65hp model.
120 maybe 130 in the Williams never maxed out though it will almost hit the limiter in top though.
Not meaning to be difficulkt can it run extreme cams? What about drive by proper wire throtle bodies or normal individual throttle bodies the ECU can run it just none has yet worked out how to program it.
The 172 convseriosn run the electric rack so theres less load on the engine since it doesn't run the hydrolic pump (it was 5hp on the Mk1 cars loss)
VAG is the better engine for tunning and strenght wise.
Throttle bodies £3.2k Maybe £2.5 using other bits cheaper ecu etc.
Head work £500
Cams...
Yep means there a problem the serv warning light often comes on with other lights at the same time otherwsie check your oil as that can set it off.
The Serv never comes on when the car needs a service.
Its not the best idea the VAG engine is a much better route to go the engines good for 270hp with stock turbo etc. There kits out there to get you to 350hp with stock internals and over 450hp if you've feeling rich the box is better built its a better sized plus LSD's are cheaper to come by. Ok...
It should come with a cleaning guide.
Vacume it the wrong way round ie suck dirt out the way it gets trapped then wash in petrol and leave to try before putting some air filter oil on it.
The Cup has turini alloys they do come in 15's aftermarket fitment in a slightly different offset or front Renault in the correct offset. There will be similar style alloys in different sizes if you want.
Check the serviving out here 60k is a common time to sell as the next serice the 72k is cambelt time ie expensive.
Not much canbe done cheaply as its not turboed unlike the Scoobie. Still manifold working and an induction kit or exhaust and a decat give decient gains depends what the cars like...
My new years resolution was no drinking unless its Germany or at a party. The way things are going looks like it will have to be a party.
Going to have to clean it or least the headlights driving home it was as if they weren't even swithced on. Just glad I eat a lot of carrots.
Oil filter yes possibly.
Air filer i don't see any point unless you live in a dirty city where it will get dirty an clogged quickly.
The filters the same as the 80hp model so its fine for 18k in then 65hp is easily big enough.
Prossibly a faulty earth.
Halfords will usually check your batterys conditiopn for free. Just because it starts the car doesn't mean its working. The extra load the cd player has when its on might be the reason.
No need to take it personaly the lack or replys. Sometimes people just don't see...
Just for you Maz

A few hard stops from 60 to slow speeds making sure you never fully stop dead on them. Do this a few times to burn off the protective treatments on them. The let them cool down.
1.6 16V is 110hp or so.
I've seen 120 down a hill and 115 on a staight in my car after a long wait (in Germany honestly) so I wou;dn't think that 120 froma 1.6 is impossible there much more powerful thanmine which has 65hp.
Speedo reliability is the thing tho0ugh mine overreads by 10% so...
