Just seems a bit of work hassle for very little or if any gains mate,so will either keep the standard set up or mod the cat in the 172 to be able to remove it on & off for mot or mod a original 182 cat onto the 172 as 182 is more of a sports cat.

Ive decided not to do this so its up on ebay or pm if anyone is interested in the manifold 👍🏻

Yeah ive read you need to drop the subframe,well part of it to get it in but part from that should be ok & gives better mid range.I have a 2 poster ramp to use so prob be a lot easier

Same with mine,after a couple of months it just stopped working.not really looked into as was in between a moving house & just got use to using the hose.

This is what i mean,some say its fine no decat some say it did make it louder 🤷🏼‍♂️ just depends on what system you have i guess.

I have the ktec system on & just thinking of either putting on the 182 manifold & cat or doing a mod with original 172 downpipe but with the 182 cat as its sports cat well close to and be ok for mot plus if i decat it will prob be to loud.

I prob thought of the phase 1 cat mate with twin barrel cat. I have the 172 so going mod the 182 cat to fit instead of my 172 one as ive read the 182 cat is more of a sports cat,than the 172?

Looking original tho mate really,does the 182 cat have two?.as two separate but next to each other
