ET38 will rub on a standard 182, let only a slammed one (the figures tweeks have are for the 172 i assume)

no i'm using the F4R T engine which has a wide face block and a much stronger bottom end
same engines as Vel Satis, laguna and Megane sport and the RS
the JC5 129 box is terrible, with 400bhp it'll explode! (i've seen then give up with just 200bhp)

you won't see much past 10000miles from a JC5 gearbox
the only reason i'm using the Megane RS parts is the gearbox is built to take upwards of 300NM
see below (MEgane RS ND0 gearox is the bigger one, the smaller one is a std JC5 172 box)
on the mk1 the adjuster is under the plastic cove at the rear of the handle (inside car)
BUT i've seen several with the rear calipers "out of sync"
easiest way to fix it is to slaken off the cable and reomve the cables from the calipers
pump the pedal a few times and put it back...
f/f = full fat (cliosport nickname) = it has aircon, leather, xenons, ABS etc
the 172cup has none of the toys on board, its just a basic clio shell with a big engine
