Not sure on the the years but must be 10 years ago or more i had.. Mk2 Xr2 in met blue 205 Gti 1.9 in white Mk1 Golf Gti 1.8 campaign I miss the the Pug and Golf the most out of all the cars i have owned. And some better and more photos of them. Still think 205 has the best shape,back end...

Good Job mate,pretty much the same as what ive been doing to mine,i painted the calipers and did a brake fluid flush.Along with oil and filter change,also a rebuild on the rear calipers.Need to sort that little road trip soon mate while were getting this great weather!?

Haha thanks mate,not red tho.Could do with doing again properly taken off etc. Thanks mate,its got some minor war marks but it is my daily and goes on many road trips,Should be going into the bodyshop some time this year to get a bit of paint work done. @Brigsy

Just a quick one,driving down to Cornwall next fri from Essex,what would anyone recommend for tyre pressures in this heat with camping gear and two people in the clio. Ive read some say higher some lower pressure,at the moment its 33psi Front & 30 rear with yoko s-drives.

Just a quick one mate,did you buy an original knock sensor or one from euro car parts?

Had the orange eml light pop on the other day.Car runs drives fine,mpg is all good to. I borrowed a code reader off of @Dr Jekyll and this is what it read I also erased the code and it hasn't come back on since. But is this most likely just to be the knock sensor?

Looking good mate and ive been looking at them car mats to,been trying to find nice ones with blue piping to match the cup but no luck,oh i have black xenons on my cup? Also i will Hopefully moving to dunmow soon,so be easier to pop over if need bite doing etc.

You could spray some silicone spray onto the belt then see if the squeak goes away or changes to defo rule out the belt,i did this and the noise stopped when i sprayed the belt.

It was just the belt in the end mate,i fitted one from ecp a couple of years ago and was ok,then replaced with a new one from ecp again then 6 months down the line kept having to adjust it as was squeaking.I actually replaced it today with an original belt and got to say the oe belt seems so...

Just done them,not the best job as calipers were still in place,but still looks good.will do a proper job soon.But first impressions it looks so much better and almost a freshen up!.will post a photo tomorrow once dry.

Will try to get this done over the weekend,i bought silver in the end.

Ha i know,to be honest i think they all look pretty good and it was just to show people and anyone else in future who is looking to paint there calipers.
