No no no. Its being done properly. I cut the 172 mounts off the 172 slam panel and they are being welded on. Its all about the finer details! ;)

No service book and no history of cambelt/aux belt kit being done would put me off a 30,000 miler let alone a 114,000 mile one!

Yeah its running! Can drive it about! It needs Aux belt (5 rib cheers Jord!), brake lines, upper rad mounts and its road worthy. After that its just a general tidy up and Oil cooler, fit new seat, Fit new headlights and sort bodywork. So close yet so far.

I'm getting Fred on the case I think. Just bite the bullet, pay someone and get it finished. Fed up of looking at it now.

Doing all that in a day??!! Man up. I do three of them a day. I deal with £3k and under cars, the people that drive them live like donkeys. You did an epic job though mate, looks very good! Nice to see someone cleaning an interior properly (seats out/shampoo'd) nobody seems to do that...
