And you'd be right in your assumptions. The fact of the matter is, ANY standard valver in ''reasonable'' condition will get humped by ANY standard 172 in ''Reasonable'' condition. Today. Not 5 or 8 years ago. All imo of course. :rolleyes:

The exhaust in the ebay ad looks like a cat back system, so will need a decat should you want it. It will be effing loud though. One box and a decat is ear splittling volume.

THATS IT!!!!! The top mount is moving actually, do you reckon thats it? I've never seen solid top mounts before so its all a bit strange to me.

Yeah thats what i was told, the spring moving is normal. I can't see it myself, surely something is a miss. I'll go with Bongy's idea one night this week.

b****cks. In my old valver I got my ass handed to me. I also smoked freebone in his valver when I had my 172. I love valvers, but that sir is a load of baloney.
