No dude!
Its normally a fixed price for the car. Our dent guy charges the public £55 plus vat for the whole car.
(Providing its not battered obviously! lol)
Well if you did buy a 182, you could bore one of the exhausts to death with one of your pointless arguments and it would fall off of its own accord.
Possibly.
Welcome to CS! lol. They'll be asking for pictures of your sister in a minute.
Its a heated debate on here mate, 16v vs 172 vs cup vs 182 etc etc.
Its all just banter. Stick with it, its the best car forum on the net!!
Contradiction much??
I'm far from snobby about 16v's mate. But the original poster sounded like he was getting excited about 137bhp and 7.7s to sixty. I was merely trying to point out that for £1000-£1300 (his budget) he would be disappointed.
And you'd be right in your assumptions.
The fact of the matter is, ANY standard valver in ''reasonable'' condition will get humped by ANY standard 172 in ''Reasonable'' condition. Today. Not 5 or 8 years ago.
All imo of course.
The exhaust in the ebay ad looks like a cat back system, so will need a decat should you want it.
It will be effing loud though. One box and a decat is ear splittling volume.
So what you're saying is a 12 month old Clio 16v, when it had 5000 miles on it was comparible to a 12m old 172 with 5000 miles on it.
What a pointless argument.
*Edit* FLOL @ once around the earth!!
Yeah thats what i was told, the spring moving is normal. I can't see it myself, surely something is a miss.
I'll go with Bongy's idea one night this week.
b****cks.
In my old valver I got my ass handed to me. I also smoked freebone in his valver when I had my 172.
I love valvers, but that sir is a load of baloney.
