W17GLE, I agree with you!!
In this climate, i'd rather be trying to sell a Diesel family car rather than a Subaru Impreza. (And the most hideous model of impreza to boot!)
On the other hand, you could have £825 in your hand and shifted a car.
Instead all you have is a car. Thats still for sale. And no money.
All for £25. ;)
Re: My own style Clio...finally thread up lol
Apart from the serious lack of lowering going on, I love that!! :D
(Apologies if you have mentioned getting it lowered, I only look at pictures! lol)
Good luck.
I had to replace two on a customers car and managed to obliterate the ones I took out and badly damaged the new two putting them in.
To summarise: I'm not best qualified to answer this question.
Its not just about overall track though is it. Otherwise everyone would be running around with massive offset wheels and stupid spacers.
Its about the spacing of the bottom arms, the strength of the ARB, the spacing of the top mounts of the willy shocks.
Seriously mate, you can't just fit...
<assive false economy. A scruffy one will set you back £1200 minimum. By the time you've done any bodywork, tyres, brakes, cambelt/aux belt you're talking £1200 worth of work. Then the interior (if its a scruffy one) will be diabolical and need sorting. Thats an endless amount of money imo...
