Ifi its been stood for a year, I wouldn't have even started it without replacing and flushing all the fluids.
I'd drain it all out, flush it all out with the hosepipe then refill it with plain water. Drive it up to temperature and look at it to see whats going on. Oil is lighter than water so...

Got a W plate 172. Developed a misfire.
I have just replaced the Coil pack, Leads and Plugs and it is still doing it.
I have had one lead off at a time trying to determine which cylinder is at fault, but each time I crank it over after removing a lead, it refuses to start. Doesn't matter...
