    Cobra imola bucket seats.

I recently sold a pair of nearly new Imolas with no subframes on here for £300. I think he needs to be a bit cheaper....

Thinking about getting this as an everyday car?

Oh sorry, I thought you meant your 172 track thing was the toy and the new 172 would be a daily drive... Confused me a little.
  6. Dicky Belly

Thinking about getting this as an everyday car?

What a pointless daily drive! Aren't daily drives meant to be cheap??

    Flash/website designing/cleaver people.

I think its quite ironic you have asked for 'Cleaver People' tbh. ;)

WTf?! We sold those kits for £499 at Renault!!

    MOT window question

They don't actually check the windows operation on an MOT so just make sure its up when it goes in. (A folded piece of car jammed into the bottom of the window/rubber normally does the trick)

    Finally Got one

    Schweet! :D
  14. Dicky Belly

    what do people think?

LOL! It helps! Seems cheap enough. As long as it HPI clear etc and drives well you can't go far wrong with them. If its not had the cambelt done budget around £200. Not a big job on the 1.2.
  15. Dicky Belly

    Finally Got one

    Details, price, spec etc?

    Finally Got one

  17. Dicky Belly

    what do people think?

I personally think he may infact be too dumb to figure that out.

Some pics of the new TT

I really really like these cars. The older ones are even starting to grow on me.

    Peanut Butter

    ^ Good glass cleaner.

Liquid Yellow Clio R27 and Glacier Meg R26

The wheel cleaner you are using is too acidic. I use really strong Acid for wheel cleaner and if I use it more than 2/3 times on the same car, the bolts go rusty instantly. Just my little bit of input. :D
  21. Dicky Belly

    Clio V6

Either have it retrimmed in leather or lose the airbag and buy an aftermarket one. Pointless buying a new Renault Item as it will be shot to s**t again in about 6 months! They're crap. Leather would be my choice. Can't beat a nice soft airbag when you're ploughing into a wall at 60mph...
  22. Dicky Belly

    Mk2 Clio isofix compatible?

I'm 99.99999% sure they do. Unless its not got a 60/40 split rear seat. But even then I'm sure they have them.
  23. Dicky Belly

    New Thumbgrips...

I personally would rather have a new wheel. Nice shiny new thumb grips and a chewed up scabby wheel. Looks daft imo.

Renault c***s! Car at Dealer and not allowed to get it!

Re: Renault c**ts! Car at Dealer and not allowed to get it! Hmmmm.....
  25. Dicky Belly

    £801 Cambelt

I personally can't see the point in doing all what you're doing and not fitting the entire kit :S To buy all the parts from Renault costs just under £200 iirc.... So how's your mate going to do it for £250??
  26. Dicky Belly

    £801 Cambelt

K-Tec charge just under £400 iirc. Cambelt kit and Aux belt kit. Not too far from you either. I'd rather let them do it than some muppet at a Renault Dealers. At least they have a passion for the job! Here....http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_service.asp?id=9
  27. Dicky Belly

Renault c***s! Car at Dealer and not allowed to get it!

Its the same n England. Renault aren't allowed to sell a pre registered car unless its 3 months old. They do though, so its a bit of a bullshit rule imo.
  28. Dicky Belly

    Fitting number plates?

Maybe i'll weld them on then....

    Re-Map Rev Limit Changed :(

Try driving for 30 minutes. I don't think 5 miles will be enough tbh mate. My valver takes a good half hour to get up to the indicated 90 degrees.
  30. Dicky Belly

    Re-Map Rev Limit Changed :(

I think that disconnecting the battery for a certain period of time rests the ECU. I'm 99% sure I read that on here somewhere.... *edit, i'm assuming the car is upto temperature??
