They don't actually check the windows operation on an MOT so just make sure its up when it goes in.
(A folded piece of car jammed into the bottom of the window/rubber normally does the trick)
LOL! It helps!
Seems cheap enough. As long as it HPI clear etc and drives well you can't go far wrong with them. If its not had the cambelt done budget around £200. Not a big job on the 1.2.
The wheel cleaner you are using is too acidic.
I use really strong Acid for wheel cleaner and if I use it more than 2/3 times on the same car, the bolts go rusty instantly.
Just my little bit of input. :D
Either have it retrimmed in leather or lose the airbag and buy an aftermarket one.
Pointless buying a new Renault Item as it will be shot to s**t again in about 6 months! They're crap.
Leather would be my choice. Can't beat a nice soft airbag when you're ploughing into a wall at 60mph...
I personally can't see the point in doing all what you're doing and not fitting the entire kit :S
To buy all the parts from Renault costs just under £200 iirc.... So how's your mate going to do it for £250??
K-Tec charge just under £400 iirc. Cambelt kit and Aux belt kit.
Not too far from you either. I'd rather let them do it than some muppet at a Renault Dealers. At least they have a passion for the job!

Its the same n England. Renault aren't allowed to sell a pre registered car unless its 3 months old.
They do though, so its a bit of a bullshit rule imo.
I think that disconnecting the battery for a certain period of time rests the ECU. I'm 99% sure I read that on here somewhere....
*edit, i'm assuming the car is upto temperature??
