Spring rates affect different cars in different ways, because what you are affecting is actually the wheel rate (different to spring rate due to different pickup points between vehicles, which gives different moments and pivots). <FONT...
Could b the selecto fork needs adjustng.
Id check that and chage the gearox oil personally.
When Ive changed the gearbox oil in my car its absolutly filty its much btter even with new stock oil. I use Millers 75/90 which although a bit pricy at £35 for 5 liters is superb stuff particulalry...
Yep to stop the seatbelts riging you unplug the black cable from the seatbelt connector this maks the car think you have your belt on all the time. Or stick a switch in the wiring and remember to switch it on when you are driving without your setbelt on (you shouldnt mind you) so that the...
Ben is the sam true for the Williams? Iv been in a rally Williams with 200lb spring and that was a joke on the bumpy back roads however my Williams has 200lb springs on coilovers and its nowhere like that bad infact it quite acceptable.
Since the Williams is track day only realy and I belive...

what about toyo proxies T1-R?
Thats the ons Ive got.
They arnt very good in the wet or dry for grip. I had F1s on the front and toyos on the back on the track an the car likes swopping ends, on Continentals all round its sticks fine...
The 182 is the faster car on the track. The extra torque of the Megan helps but on the ring 2 up vs a Megan with no back seats and 1 driver the 182 was qicker only slighly though.
At Oulton park the Megan was slightly slower
4 pots are overkill for the road unless your turning it into your own rally circuit, they can lock up whenver you want although they are worth ever penny on the road.
The big brake kits are better than stock hough much more power. How can I tell well my dcis got stock vlver brakes unworn etc...
Your looking a paying about £500 to £1k for the engine thn £1k to i it and preferbly another £500~750 to replace all the cam belt etc. Its easier to change the belts when the engines out and much cheaper.
Id say it was a seal or something which has gone not the clucth. If it is the cutch then its smashed itelf up in which case its build quality.
Id say it was 100% a claim on Renault build you souldt ha to pay a penny.
The cltches arnt amazing but thy shouldnt fail that ick they can fail in...
Look at the botom of th sills near where the door hinges are. Then stick your hand under the car and youll fell the bit of chassic about 1 inch high an 1.5 wide bu about 2 foot long. Id try and jck on the but if your going o axle stan i jack on the normal jacking points (the sills) an put the...

I wouldnt worry to much, mine was never replaced...
The first modification Id do is coilovers followed by uprated braks (4pots proably).
Id disconnect the second lambeda though so it doest have a chance to set the warning light off.
Dont wory to much about the 7.8k limiter.
Yozz hadan 8k limiter on his 172 and it took 80k of abuse and 25 track days to finlly kill it.
So long as you dont abuse the new rev limiter all the tim I wouldnt worry. Id still change the oil moe often though.
Contact Mark at Richspeed (tel 01970871092) regards his 4 pot setup. Its £400 I think from memory and you dont need any fancy disks. He has a 280mm setup if you want the big disk setup. However you dont need them I can lock up none stop ever corner without any fade in my car only problem is the...
Whilst it sounds a nice idea I would never goet myself into a finance situation like that personally. Plus your looking at gettng the loan over 4 yrs and youll only be at uni 3 rs whats going to happen in the last year of the loan you might have to move out of house and a £325 a month finance...
Try GSF Ive had problems with Eurocar parts delivering and ordering parts in the past.
If they dont sell them (I would think they wouldnt sell them at the moment) Renault wont be as bad as youd expect I think there £20 or so.
