£2.5 ~£3k depends on history etc and other rust IMO. Plus the weight of the reciepts (The more there are for new bits the better).

Could b the selecto fork needs adjustng. Id check that and chage the gearox oil personally. When Ive changed the gearbox oil in my car its absolutly filty its much btter even with new stock oil. I use Millers 75/90 which although a bit pricy at £35 for 5 liters is superb stuff particulalry...

The 182 is the faster car on the track. The extra torque of the Megan helps but on the ring 2 up vs a Megan with no back seats and 1 driver the 182 was qicker only slighly though. At Oulton park the Megan was slightly slower

Your looking a paying about £500 to £1k for the engine thn £1k to i it and preferbly another £500~750 to replace all the cam belt etc. Its easier to change the belts when the engines out and much cheaper.

Th strut brace will fit. The front dampers being differet on the 182 have no effect on the instlion of a strut brace.

The Ktec system has been used by a few forum members and comes highly recomended I think.

The first modification Id do is coilovers followed by uprated braks (4pots proably). Id disconnect the second lambeda though so it doest have a chance to set the warning light off.

Dont wory to much about the 7.8k limiter. Yozz hadan 8k limiter on his 172 and it took 80k of abuse and 25 track days to finlly kill it. So long as you dont abuse the new rev limiter all the tim I wouldnt worry. Id still change the oil moe often though.

Try GSF Ive had problems with Eurocar parts delivering and ordering parts in the past. If they dont sell them (I would think they wouldnt sell them at the moment) Renault wont be as bad as youd expect I think there £20 or so.
