No, because then i've got to put the wife on the policy, which will load it up, then bumping it up to £30k will load it up and it will no doubt upset my business partner who runs a £56k Q7 so he'll want a piece of the action! lol!!
Danny, My trade policy only covers upto the value of £25k and in my finance paperwork, it states the policy must cover the full list price of the vehicle, which was £28650 iirc.
It does suck arse, but if it gets nicked, I need to know its covered!!
And If you're only doing 2 track days per year and aren't really worried about how the car looks, I can't see the point in buying 'budget' coilovers when the Eibach springs are superb for day to day.
Now technically I can not insure it but keep it on the MID so nobody will ever know.... Including ANPR cars.

Just had the renewal through on the Audi, just My Mrs is insured as I have my own policy.
NOTHING has changed since last year, except we are married.
The car, house, job, location, usage, 6k per year limit, excess, EVERYTHING is the same.

It starts making a 'fun' track day a bit expensive.
Just stay away from everyone else and concentrate on what you're doing. If you're driving within your limits and don't get involved with any ''My nobs bigger than yours'' racing then you'll be fine.
