Well I cannot garantee the service from them but Ive never paid for any extra work even when they didnt want to give me the car keys back as my brakes were 90%+ worn at the service. Ive never realy trust any dealership Im only after the stamp, cheap prices a courtesy car and a wash (it always...
Anything can be improved on. Coilovers would be IMO the way to go. There expensive (say £6650 + 40~90 fitment) but much better than any other mods if you realy drive your car a lot.
Check the usualy things rust shouldnt be an issue as most proble areas are plastic.
Checks shocks springs Mot accurate etc.
Bar crashes and the famopus problems I wouldnt worry just amke sure to take account of the 72k mile service when they change the belts which is costly make sure it...
No. 5 yrs is a long time.
All these finace deals look good till you get 3 yr olde car with 2 yrs to go and want a chnage and you have to pay to get rid of your finacne car.
Get a 1 ~2 yr old 178 for £8k say and get a 3 yr finacne loan for about £250. Ok is £20 extra a month but after 3 yrs...
Try Renault Chester there quite good for prices apparently although I never pushed them for money when test driving a 182.
Best idea is to go in and when there saying how much list price is just say I can buy one for £12k with Cup pack are you willing to match. Whatever they say (unless they...
Wasnt the least powerful one there, I think I can reasonably safely claim that prize.
How big are the vids though? Im on 56k and get disconnected after 10 meg and that takes forever.
Seems like youve got a foot as heavy as mine.
On the 1.2 16V courtesy cars Ive had I got about 30~33mpg on the long run to work and about 20 when booting it.
Owners MPG depends so much on how they drive some owners get 50mpg some get 30.
I wouldnt worry to much the 17s arnt doing anyhting...
The fuel filters under the bonnet on the passengers side by the radiator.
Pm me your email address and Ill send you the files on the dci engine where bits are and how to change them.
Not many DCi onwers on the site so most problmes are from Renault techs and the dci is a good engine, if it...
A lot of people have had trouble installing them.
Ive written a guide on troublshooting and instaling themhttp://sfnc.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/james/dialogy.htm here.
You can buy them cheaper than that though Ive PM you though.
Just run the car on some decient fule not the cheapest stuff from some back street garage.
Alos when warm ever now and again floor it and run the engine up near the limiter to clean out any dirt in the system.
The problem would seem to be down to cheap fuel causing problems.
Changing the...
They might go. Some are still going strong at 140k other last 50k.
Id guess its down to the fuel used cheap supermarket etc stuff is probably to blame for injectors failing.
Speaker grills are ~£15+ vat (thats for both you cannot buy them seperate)
Door handles are ~£20 each plus VAT.
Tell them yuor trae should get you some money off.
I have to say I do drive hard and can see why people get 50mpg out of 1.2s as it is easy but on the same ground a dci should be about 50% more economical. However the saving depends how you drive and the milage you do. If Id have driven more carefully in my dci vs 1.2 the saving wouldnt be as...
There are diffferent cd changers Renault sell there the factory ones as fitted to 172/182 when they were standard etc.
Then theres the ones the dealers buy and fit when you opt for them when you buy a dynamique etc. Since dealers dont want to pay Renault and due to a few laws they have the...
Ive got the 65 dci and just like all diesels it gives more than it claime it seem to be abouy 70hp the 80dci gives about 85hp.
Its a good little car its quicker in normal driving than a 1.2 probably quicker than a 1.4 in normal drivng if you push the revs though it would be about as quick as a...
Thats what Ive been thinking that they should last for 100k+ ie longer than the body and I do run on Shell etc fuel. Im not sure if it is the cheap diesel which causes problems if it is then Im safe.
When you say the fuel filters chnaged often how often do you think is acceptable?
As for...
Very easy to install, just stick the cd chanager under the seat and hide the wiring round to the back of the dash etc then remove the head unit and plug the cd changer in and it will work.
Renault charge £300 I think.
Unless you can find a Clio one for sale on a forum etc you wont be able to...
